Burnsville Master Bath Suite

Wide view of the bathroom from the tub

This client, whom we had done previous work for (view their kitchen), wanted a well-appointed bath with functionality and elegance. It started with a modest redesign of the shower and tub placement and a more practical approach to the dual sink vanity.

From a design perspective, baths need to be light and this is often accomplished with the use of white or off-white tile. However, often the use of too much tile gives the bath a stark and cold feeling. With help from our colleagues at Minnesota Tile & Stone, a choice of 13” x13” Travertine floor tile and 13” x 24” Travertine wall tile was selected. Travertine, with its rich white, creamy to taupe coloring, set the tone for this warm inviting master bath suite.

With the tile selection established we now could pick out the Granite for the vanity top and tub deck. A choice of “Imperial Splendor” Granite was selected. This complimented the Travertine tile and also was a nice compliment to the Kohler French Gold fixtures for both the lavatory and tub faucets.

We also incorporated thermostatically controlled heated floors, a heated towel bar with liquid glycol, tri-pane Marvin picture windows and a curb-less shower with door into this elegant master bath suite.

The photos below show the results of fine design and quality products and workmanship.
